This is the second module in a series on Predictive Processing. We explore precision weighting and active inference, both of which are applicable to somatic practices. Precision weighting pertains to how the brain weights prediction and incoming sensory information, usually an inverse relationship. Active inference refers to how the body reconfigures (even before moving) to make the brain’s prediction become true.
