This module introduces the idea that the diagnosis of the client contributes to context, and that what and how we proceed is more dependent upon the state of the nervous system. We look at how people with the same diagnosis show up differently. The diagnosis in focus here is fibromyalgia, and information about this diagnosis is provided. We then look at how this diagnosis can show up in each of four states of the nervous system, what is helpful, what is not helpful, and why. There is some tie-in to the modules related to the medicine cabinet in the brain/body. There are 2 movement explorations and 2 breakout groups to provide reflection on concepts presented.
