Content includes a brief review from the previous Fluidity module, and then focuses on the fluids that are transcellular—fluids that are contained, such as synovial fluid in the joints, cerebrospinal fluid in and around the brain and spinal cord, and the fluids in spaces around the heart, lungs, and abdominal organs. Applied biotensegrity (see biotensegrity module for details) is explored related to fluids in general, and specifically covering the concept of fluids as soft matter.
