This module focuses on Milton Trager’s approach to somatic movement exploration, education and therapy … the foundation of the Trager Approach. The cycle/process of Mentastics is reviewed. The main content is based on several purposes of Mentastics that participants wanted to know more about:

• refreshing the homunculus via proprioceptive input
• improving interoceptive awareness and capacity
• developing sensory vocabulary.

Movement explorations follow each science segment.
