This module includes an introduction to epigenetics, starting with a review of the cell nucleus, chromosomes, DNA, and genes. Gene expression is explained, along with what influences gene expression … things that we for the most part have control over. We explore movement as nature intends, and movement that nurtures our genes. Hypotheses are presented about how somatic movement education and therapy could influence gene expression.
