This module expanded our understanding about the role of bones outside of the musculoskeletal system. We looked at the structure of compact and spongy bone in detail. Looking at the functions of bones, including protection, support, sensing and adapting, we discovered connections between bone and the immune system and the endocrine system. Two movement explorations and two breakout groups will encourage you to explore new aspects and qualities of bone.
