In this module you will dive deeper into biotensegrity with the exploration of our body as soft matter (somewhere between liquid and solid) with the possiblity of phase changing (to more liquid or more solid) as we feel often during sessions as we witness changes in tissue quality. The quality of viscoelasticity is explored via a demonstration with oobleck, a mixture of cornstarch and water. This substance is a colloid and demonstrates emergent properties, unpredictable behaviors based on the properties of the individual ingredients. Components of fascia are explored, as well as the linkage between fascia and cells.
